I agree. Belichick would resign if Kraft accepted a penalty for this. He is pissed off at having the integrity of his team and his coaches and himself questioned unfairly.

This is why i like curran. He takes his beating but doesnt cloud the judgement.

I love the part where he said that Friday's press release made it clear the Patriots were being dropped in the mud and the stain left to spread. Because that is EXACTLY what happened. It makes me shake with anger to think about it. I can only imagine what it did to BB.

I beg to differ. The POS commissioner and league office did not stir up this pot of crap to come up with nothing and make him look ridiculous. I feel that the POS will appeal to Kraft to accept punishment for the good of the league like in 2007 and he will accept it. Remember that Goodell does not need facts to issue punishment and he reacts to the noise of the media.

The NFL didnt stir the pot. The Colts complained and they are obligated to look into it. The problem was the leak to the Indy reporter who was with the Indy owner when he received the NFL leak the night of the game. Kravitz posted this and by 8am Monday morning this was already out of control. NFL didn't make it out of control, they didn't help but this is with Kravitz and his source. Gee I wonder who his source was.

Read the end of the article. In the league constitution it is agreed that the Commissioners' word is final when it comes to judgements against a team.
Also, the Patriots, as an organization, can NOT sue the league in the event that those assholes find the Patriots culpable.

I want to ask any investigative arm(s) of the United States government with the jurisdiction and power to conduct an immediate, comprehensive forensic auditing of the NFL,ESPN, Roger Goodell's personal assets, and any connections of a fiscal or fiduciary nature between James D. Skipper,Patrick Stiegman , Christne Driessen and George Ward Bodenheimer , ex ESPN head and current Disney exec already up in the feds eyes for insider trading involving Under Armours stock.

There you have the central cabal of an ORGANIZED crime organization. Goodell didn't want 'spygate' swept under the rug. He took a speeding ticket and turned it into a murder case.

I don't know why I am surprised, but you're right that there are those who willingly, foolishly followed in Mangini's footsteps - it's such weak game - just like the straight up cowards who call Belichick and Brady liars based on what fools in the media tell them they should think. Then please explain the leaks to Mortensen and Goodell's friend Glazer. Irsay created the pot of crap but the NFL with its leaks stirred it.
