Let's make this a poll.

I presume that the following seven are locks
Hobbs, Bryant, Wheatley, Harrison, James Sanders, Meriweather and Lynch are locks.

for some reason i really like mike richardson. he looked like he was doing good last preseason. and for my other choice i'd say either ty law or the rook wilhite (might as well give him a chance)

I think Spann and Ventrone stick.

I said Spann and guessed a Wilhite. If their going to take a risk back there, might as well be a promising rookie.

I'd guess 10 DB's.
Pats usually carry at least 25 defenders, whether regular or special teams.
Six DL.
Nine LB.
10 DB.

There can always be some twist, based on injuries and depth and so forth. But that's a good guess.

Well, I'd say one of Spann or Ventrone, as they seem to be ahead of the others, and one of Wilhite or Richardson, as true CB depth is needed.

Spann and Wilhite.

I believe the recent "norm" is 7 DL's, 9 LB's and 9 DB's. There is no question that we can find a place for 10th DB if he projects to be a contributor. Most of are ready to get rid of the 7th DL. However, I think many would use the position to keep a 10th LB.

Many of us are having difficulty cutting down to even 25 offensive players. Here are 26 positions. All of us have made the difficult decision to cut one of the positions. I wouldn't want to cut two.

3 QB
9 OL
5 RB
6 WR (including a returner)
3 TE

Call me crazy, but as a situational pass rusher Crable "could" be considered DL....I think they want to groom him as a "elephant" type, not sure he fits exactly what they want as a OLB....but as his body changes something tells me his position will as well.
