I agree Jackson is a bust, I wouldnt go that far and say Maroney is injury prone I think the bigger issue with him is his dancing instead of hitting the holes. As for Big Sey I still think hes a stud at the position, aslong as he keeps drawing double teams and holding his position at the point of attack hes doing his job well.

None of the points I made above are incorrect, and two of the three are undebatable at this point. Look at Maroneys injury history, and his dancing behind the line. Jackson is 100% a bust, and Sey has been a shell of himself since he got paid.

Chad Jackson could not cut it in our offense, and seemingly no other team feels he is worth it. He is still young and has time to turn it around, although it is unlikely because by all reports it is a mental thing. Sure label him a bust, but after his rookie season when he was hurt and there were reports of him not studying the playbook, that wasn't a giant leap to call him a bust this season. BB has never shown faith in him so you didn't exactly go out on a limb.

Maroney is a solid back and you dance around questions more than he dances when there are no holes.

Seymour is far far far from over the hill, but you value stats over actual performance so it's pointless to debate this topic any further with you.

I'm sure if I met him, he'd be just a regular guy, but he simply has nothing worthwhile to say and what he does say displays incredible ignorance. Why bother?

You still think this thread is crazy? The D is laughable. No pass rush, terrible secondary and slow lb's (aside from Gary and Jerod).

Niners covered up the fact that the D is awful.

The coverage wasn't bad, the throw was good and it was a good catch. Both Floyd's and Jackson's catches were that way.

My concern is the lack of a pass rush. I watched Arizona hit Romo all day, and their front is not full of pro bowlers.

We've take their punch...we need to counter-punch.

Can't counter it. I was lambasted for making the claim, and yet again I was right. The 08 D is one of the worst in the NFL.

The draft is the only way to fix it.

If the Pats had a pass rush they could mask their problems in the secondary. But when Rivers is able to move up in the pocket and step into his throw, your team clearly doesn't have a pass rush. And why would BB come out in a 4-3 when their D is slow as hell? It's actually laughable watching them try to rush the passer with a 4 man line.
