THE BROOKLYN NETS THREAD

Nets: 8-25
Sixers: 9-24
Suns: 10-25
Mavs: 10-24

How many years in a row can the Sixers remain a bottom 3 team?

The 76ers will remain a bottom-3 team this season.
Next season, with the addition of a healthy Ben Simmons, is when I expect them to cash-in their chips and add a veteran difference-maker.

Almost at mid season and things looking good so far.

Nets: 8-31
Miami: 11-30
Suns: 12-27
Mavs: 12-27
Sixers: 12-245

What players are projected to go 1, 2, and 3?
Just looked it up and the three top picks are point guards.......how do you spell TRADE.

Not if they projected to be franchise players. Who's out there to trade for who's really worth it? Cousins if off the market it looks like. Butler isn't a game changer and would cost every asset they have. Fultz and Ball both look potential game changers, would both add considerable size and scoring ability to the Cs guards and would free up Danny to move Rozier/AB. If Giles gets a clean bill of health, he's /exactly/ what the Cs need.

Josh Jackson is another really interesting guy. Scoring/defense and elite offensive rebounding.

The nice things is, they stand to be as bad, or worse next year, when the draft is packed with 4s and 5s.

So what if they get the number one pick. So far Ainge has turned the Brooklyn picks into Smart (at 6) who is one of the worst professional basketball players I have ever seen and Brown who despite being picked with the third pick in the entire draft looks like he has a ceiling of 8-10 ppg off the bench. I have no confidence that Ainge can turn high picks into talent.

Brooklyn is rumored as wanting to trade Lopez. The pick looks good either way.

Knowing the Cs' luck in the lottery, however, they probably still won't get the #1 overall pick somehow.
