Sports center tweet, since deleted, leaves Patriots out as one of the unbeaten teams. Post time of 5:44 was PST. CRE9S26VEAAovXP.jpg

Their tears are delicious.

I'd say they aren't that pety but everything indicates they are whatever the nfl wants them to be.

The tweet posted in the O.P. is/was about the number of teams at 4-0. The Patriots were not 4-0 at 5:44 pm.

In an effort to constantly play "gotcha!" games with ESPN and others, Patsfans.com posters have become just as ridiculous as the people/companies they're bashing.

Let's get a mod to close this thread.

Why do you care about this?

I was going to say that in their defense the Patriots were not 4-0 at that point in time, but at 5:44 pacific time that would not be the case.

More egregious than not including a team that won an hour before that was published was including a team (Arizona) that lost seven days previously.

Is the Jets fan that handled the NFL social media now working in Bristol?

I missed the PST part (it was underneath the pic... my bad) but, as you note, ARZ had already lost anyway, so it was either a bad 'catch' by the O.P. for the timing, or a clear and all too usual mistake by someone working for a media company.

Neither is worth a thread.

Eh, they are cutting back 200-300 jobs. It's probably sloppiness of some underpaid intern than a directed thing.

The Patriots won and ESPN lost, folks.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/espn-to-cut-hundreds-of-jobs-report-2015-09-22

"The Walt Disney Co.'s DIS, +0.91% ESPN is looking to cut 200 to 300 jobs in coming months, according to USA Today's The Big Lead. Sources at ESPN reportedly told the publication that Disney wants ESPN to cut $100 million from next year's budget, followed by a deeper cutback in 2017. ESPN declined to confirm the reports, but said in a statement that it "has historically embraced evolving technology to smartly navigate our business. Any organizational changes will be announced directly to our employees if and when appropriate." The news of potential job cuts comes after last month's massive media-stock selloff, which followed earnings reports showing declines in cable-TV subscriptions. During Disney's earnings call with investors last month, Chief Executive Bob Iger admitted ESPN had suffered modest subscriber losses, but expressed continuing confidence in the sports network's ability to leverage its brand and offerings in a changing media landscape. Disney's shares are up 8.5% in 2015, outperforming the S&P, which is down nearly 6%."

Fark ESPN*. Long live BB, the GOAT, and this awesome fan-base.
