I agree with those who said they just do this to update their lists, in case of injury. If Gost went down (God forbid; knock wood), they could make a call on the spot rather than have to have a bunch of guys in for a tryout on an emergency basis.

Or, they know something about Gostkowski's leg we don't or they are just doing their due diligence. Like they do every year.

Honestly believe that this is much ado about nothing.

Bingo. Ghost is safe.

This is just the sign of a franchise that dots its I's and crosses its T's like no other. It's the bye week and they are doing their homework just in case.

Due diligence for sure.

Gostkowski showed Monday night why he's one of the best in the business.

I think they're having problems with the long snapping and that's throwing Ghost off. If you watch his snaps they all seem to be near the Zoltan's head which throws the whole timing of the kick off.

NFL Videos: Gostkowski, 37-yd missed FG

Bingo. WTF with the long snapper????? He's had SEVERAL bad snaps so far.

That's the ONLY thing he does. How useless is a long snapper who can't snap accurately?????

That's like an amputee hand model.
