For the first time in awhile we are headed into the seasons with A lot of firepower in terms of the passing attack.

Bennett, Hogan ,Washington, D.Brown , Clay Harbor are all fresh faces .

Mitchell, Lucien, DJ Foster and Bryce Williams are rookies comings in playing for a spot who also greatly can impact the passing game.

In terms of WRs strictly , outside of Edelman, Amendola and Hogan I don't know who sticks. So 1) how many wrs do we carry into the season? 2) Who makes it? 3) Bonus question ...does DJ Foster make it?

If Foster makes the roster, it will be in place of James White.

Dion Lewis' position for the first 8 weeks.

Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, Gronkowski, Bennett, Lewis (Brown for awhile), and White (or Foster).

Brady has only 5 targets at a time.

Mitchell will make the team, as early draft choices always do. He is a downfield receiver, and Hogan's backup.
================
Lucien and Harper will likely be on the Practice Squad.

Maybe we'll have one more WR, perhaps not.

OFFENSE (24)
QB 3
RB 4
FB 1
WR 4
OL 8
TE 3
ST 1 (Slater)

Some want a 5th RB. Some want a 5th WR. Some want a 6th WR. Some want 9 OL. Some want 10 OL. And some have even suggested 4 TE's.

The above offense is simply awesome. The last three roster spots out of the 53, good go anywhere. Perhaps one will be the 5th WR, or not.

Considering the offense will likely be constructed to be 2-TE centric this year, it might make sense to carry 4 TE's to be able to rotate, keep guys fresh and get everyone reps. Maybe Gronk-Bennett-Harbor-Williams. Of course, Williams might possibly get stashed on the PS too, or some other TE like Derby.
