Casserly just reported this on CBS. Intriguing as an elephant. A truly dominant 3-4 edge rusher would make this D more dominant.

Did you get that info from a web site like usual, or from watching him play?:D
 
he's a 4-3 DE and has always been as such. What use is he to us?
 
Rice is more of a 1 gap DE who only plays up at the LOS. Not sure he'd fit in well with the Pats 2 gap scheme, or whether or not he could drop back as an OLB as the Pats to have their DE's do regularly.

i've watched. their D is horrible this year and he hasnt done anything to help them get better.

I second that. Having lived in Tampa for a number of years, you'd get all the little tidbits of news, he's not worth it.
 
Rice isa version of Freeney who NEVER plays the run, at least as I remember him from the Cards days. Pass rush all the time, and takes himself out of most rushing plays.
