That's the way - play them off against each other, drive the price up. "Mallett's too valuable to us to trade from just a (fill in the blank)". If there really were multiple suitors with any interest, BB must have been in heaven.

I loved what he said at the conference call about us being in a great situation with 3 good QBs, while some teams doesn't even have one good QB *wink wink*
