Not a fair comparison in the slightest.

This is the team that let Ty fringing Law & Lawyer Milloy go.
He was a 4th round pick, i'm pretty confident we can figure something out.
Don't drink the "Shutdown CB" kool aid, the guy isn't Champ Baily...Get over yourself...:bricks:
hello.
i don't know all free agency rules.
a play like samuel or moss after 29 february can resign with pats for example in march or there is a "deadline" date like in baseball?
It's comparing apples and oranges..MOST people would leave their jobs for more money as it would impact their standard of living...Most oro athletes are in a different salary range altogether so the real difference is NOT one of lifestyle ay all. Gee, maybe I will buy ten houses instead of one or two?? Makes sense on the surface but when you look at it, most athletes are in the top 99% income wise. This will probably be his one big contract of his career and I don't know why its a big deal that he wants to make as much as possible. I know most of us here wouldn't leave our current jobs for a higher paying job right?
They can re-sign with the Pats at any time.
The deadline date in baseball I believe is for players who turn down arbitration from their previous team. Those guys cannot sign with that team until May 15th.
Moss can not resign because he had a new contract in the 07 year and a player can only have one new contract per season. Which is why IF the Pats agreed with him now or before the end of the season, it could not be announced until the 29th, the start of the 08 year. Extensions can be done and UFAs can sign with their current team till the 29th, when they can negotiate with ANY team. They can re-sign with the Pats at any time.
