The Baltimore Ravens are a Dr Jekyll - Mr Hyde team. The Baltimore Ravens were 8-0 at home versus 4-4 on the road with losses to Tennessee, Jacksonville, Seattle, San Diego.

Three keys to the Patriots - Ravens game:

1) Turnovers

2) Patriots offensive line versus Ravens defensive line

3) Patriots defensive front seven versus Ravens Ray Rice

Will be a different outcome against the Ravens. We stop the run, we win.

Look at the last time they played... Note Flacco's passing stats! As well as our horrible receiving
corps..

Pats played BAL last year and won 23-20.

Branch and AH had very good games.

Gronk and WW had average games.

Brady played well.

Flacco played very well but cooled off in the 4th qtr.

Road games with Flacco interception: 0-4
Road games with no Flacco interception: 4-0 (division games plus Rams)

They need a comfortable and mentally focused Flacco to win. If he throws a pick, watch his confidence sink and the game start to unravel. If the Pats get their hands on a Flacco pass, they need to reel it in and not just knock it down.

That's basically today's NFL. Best QB wins. That's why, based on who is left, I think the Pats have a great shot at winning it all this year.

Top 3 QBs Aaron Rogers and Drew Brees say Hi!

There have been 8 playoff games and 16 QB ratings.

The top 8 QB ratings = 8-0...All above 97
The bottom 8 QB ratings = 0-8...All 97 or below

If Flacco ends up with a higher QB rating than Brady, the Ravens have a good chance of winning (nearly won in 2010 when this happened). If Brady finishes with a higher QB rating, the Pats will likely win unless Ray Rice runs absolutely wild.

Eli out played Rodgers by a long shot and GB turned the ball over 4 times.
Smith went toe to toe with Brees but ultimately 5 NO turnovers (and 2 Brees picks) did them in.

He's right, it's about who plays better QB and doesn't turn the ball over. Bree's threw for what, 450 yards? Doesn't matter when you turn the ball over 5 times.

QB rating is an overrated stat but at it's purest form in these games, the team that has the QB with the least number of negative plays and most number of positive plays usually wins.

Is there was a way to maintain the spacing when pasting stats anyone knows of?

I've done this before but it's time consuming

..............REC...YDS..AVG.....TD....LG...TGTS
R. Moss......5......4.....9.6......0.....19.....7

Interesting stat on Suggs via Lombardi on NFLN. Of his 14 sacks this year 9 came in three games and only 4 happened on the road. 3 per game against the Steelers, Colts and 49ers and all those were at home. Little bit harder without the crowd noise.

The last time the Baltimore Ravens faced a potent offense on the road, the Baltimore Ravens defense was torched for 34 points against the San Diego Chargers. Food for thought.

Stopping Ray Rice in the passing game as well as the running game will be one of the defensive keys to winning the game.

The rosters for both teams have drastically changed.

The Pats are going to run all their typical quick screens and slants to the receivers. Tight Ends in the flats and especially in the red zone. Their delayed draw plays to Green-Ellis. The Patriots have shown nothing new offensively for about 10 years now. They just got some new toys. That is it.

If only the NE offense were this simple..

I think the ravens game plan is going to be very very simple.

Offense: Run Ray Rice, Try and hit Smith deep, Boldin try to work the middle.

Defense: Suggs, Ngata, Johnson to pressure brady. Take away the big play and trust that eventually Suggs and Ngata will win their match ups.

it's simple but when you have great players on D it's one that can win you games.

Let's hope light/mankins/connoly/waters/solder have the games of their life.

Analysts say that the pass rush must come from the middle of the Pats OL, to get at Brady. Not the edges.

But, Waters+Connelly+Mankins are better than previous years of Mankins+Koppen+Neal... IMO

As a Ravens fan I just want to say I am looking forward to a great game with one of the most classiest team and organizations around including fanbase.

One thing is for sure whoever wins the game will earn it and will need the week off to rest up after the hard physical game that will take place

I am not one to bash any team or organization I just don't see the sportsmanship in it.

Tip of the Hat to you, sir! Good Luck!!

This is 100% accurate.

Stepping into your throws is the #1 need of a QB.

Connolly is 6'4" 313. Much larger than Koppen.

Neal was good but Waters is MUCH better than Neal.

Mankins is Mankins.

If this line does its job, TB will put up 35 on this defense.

Waters is better than Neal? Really?

Care to explain that?

Branch or Ocho or someone other than Welker/Hernandez/Gronk needs to make atleast 3 big plays for the Pats to win, since you know where the Ravens going to start in terms of their cover schemes.
