Quentin Moses toyed with the idea of being a two sport athlete originally. After spending time with the basketball team as a freshman, he realized his future was on the gridiron. As a redshirt freshman in 2003, Moses racked up 37 tackles, 4.5 for loss, and 2.5 sacks, earning All SEC Freshman honors. He became more of a playmaker as a sophomore, going for 7.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks, to go along with 23 tackles. As many players do, Moses broke out as a junior. He posted career highs with 44 tackles, 20.5 for loss, and 11.5 sacks. His numbers dipped this year, as he had just 3.5 sacks to go along with 31 tackles, 10.5 of them coming for loss.
Pound for pound, Moses is one of the elite athletes in the draft. He has fantastic agility, quickness, and speed on the football field. He has the athletic talent to be a true standout off the edge in the NFL. He is not just an athlete though. He has a great burst off the snap, and once he gets a step on the tackle, is in the backfield to bring down the ball carrier. Moses shows the ability to get after the passer, but has the awareness to see the run play and get to the back.
As with most ‘tweeners,’ Moses lacks the bulk to be effective in running situations. He can be driven off the ball because of his long and lanky frame. He will need to bulk up to be more of an all around threat, and to be on the field as much as possible. He also needs to play with more passion, as he seems to wander at times during the game.
Quentin Moses entered the year neck and neck with Gaines Adams, but he slid a bit this year. Adams appears to be the top end on most boards now, and Moses may find it tough closing the gap in the post season. He’s still a first round talent with amazing upside. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] College Career
Moses redshirted in 2002. As a redshirt freshman in 2003, he was a third-string defensive end and played in all 14 games. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman first team by the SEC coaches and The Sporting News. In 2004, as a backup, Moses had 23 total tackles including 6.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss as well as being a member of the 2004 SEC Academic Honor Roll. In 2005, he took over the starting position. He recorded 11.5 sacks and was named a member of the first team All-SEC by the Associated Press and the SEC Coaches, named All-America third team by Rivals.com, and was a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Heading into 2006, Moses was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List, a pre-season All-America first team, All-SEC first team, and SEC Defensive Player of the Year by The Sporting News. At the end of the season, he was announced as a third team All-American. Ironically, however, he made neither the first, or second, team SEC. Those who received the awards were not given All-America honors.
Like this guy alot looks like a safe pick for one of our first rounders if Willis and Nelson are off the board I take him at 24 no question
