i dont think welker is a snub..some recognition..maybe but look @ what hes done and others

Welker: 96 catches 1004 yards 8 TDs
Edwards: 69 catches 1,170 yards 13 TDs
Housh: 101 catches 1028 yards 11 TDs
Wayne: 82 catches 1280 yards 9 TDs

i think if Andre Johnson was healthy all year he would've easily gotten 1 of the spots

Johnson 85 is also having a nice year quietly. 85 catches 1265 yards 6 TDs

again..these guys are their teams go to guys while Moss is ours so a slot WR wont get as much recognition as the #1 or #2 guy

Welkers doing a great job but to take 2 WRs from THIS offense..1 that has slighty worse #s than others than got in..it would be unfair

You basically hit it on the head..every year there is one position that has more deserving players than spots available, and ultimately 1-2 guys dont get selected when they are having probowl seasons. That position in the AFC this year is WR.

Well could Welker make it as a reserve?
Ah well still, 7 Pats named to the Pro Bowl is a HUGE accomplishment.
Congrats to all the Pats that won the honor!

Re: Here are our pro bowlers

Got SNUBBED:

Koppen
Welker
Warren

Hansen (just kidding!)

I can see a solid argument for all three of those guys.

It's astounding how good Welker is at an impact position and he's being overlooked. The guy is MONEY.

I don't think highly of the way the voting goes for these things. It's always based upon popularity and past performances, which is a shame for the guys who are currently kicking ass.

8 Pats made it this year and i can think of 6 Pats who have made it in the past.......

Troy Brown, Junior Seau
Adalius Thomas, Larry Izzo, Tedy B.
Richard Seymour...Did I forget anybody.....?

It's nice to have a locker room when you have 14 guys who have been to the Pro Bowl and others who are on the cusp (welker/Warren)....pretty good models for the younger guys...

Some guy named Tom. Tom something or other. I hear he's made a few.

tom? we dont have a tom on our team....r u on crack?

[/sarcasm]

Is this the most players in 1 season for the team? Sorry if answered in the other pages (too many to read thru). 8 probowlers is great.

I'm still pinching myself that this team could end up as the BEST EVA!

Congrats to those who made it. It will be more interesting to me who makes All Pro.

What?! No Hanson?

I guess fan voting must not count for much of the overall voting.

Good thing. Hanson blows!

No Jets! I love it.

And why does the title of this thread say Seymour instead of Wilfork?

Screw the Pro-Bowl it is a popularity contest because the Pats are sending 8 this year this everything, Remember last year when we only had one. How many times has Tom been overlooked. to the guys who are getting a free vacation to Hawaii congratulation. Other than that I believe the patriots only care about an anticipated trip to Arizona!

Love the list.

Would be happier if Wes could have made it if someone decides to skip.

Matt Light?

Re: Here are our pro bowlers

They need to expand the roster to at least 45 but preferably 53. League is cheaping out not doing so. Only 4 WR and 2 TE, tough to run some offenses with those personnel...

And yet 3 QB's, all of whom will play unlike in real life...

Welker should be the first alternate added at WR or KR or STer.

I hope Light now plays like a pro bowler from here on out.

No beating around the bush on the Matt Light nomination, eh? :D

These are the starters, possibly more to come:

Mankins
Light
Brady
Moss
Vrabel
Samuel
Wilfork

How can Dungy screw up with a team like that?:D
