Actually, it was the other way around : Carroll wanted to call a timeout, but the players on the field didn't. Terry Glenn was just inches from Carroll, saw him trying to get the timeout, and just ignored him. They ran the play and didn't call the timeout.
It was against the Dolphins in 1998, the game Bledsoe broke his index finger, if memory serves me well. MNF cameras caught Glenn looking at Carroll and ignore him.

I remember someone logging into Tedy Brushi's weekly blog to bad mouth Pete Carroll. Tedy defended his former coach and stated that many players benefited from the tutelage they received. Pete Carroll has been excellent with "X's & O's" for a long time. He had to truly learn to be a leader of men so going to USC for several years was perfect for him.

Pete Carroll invited OJ Simpson to give his USC team a pep talk before one particular game. Think about that. He invited a murderer to inspire his team. Winning at any cost is his objective. He has the morals of satan. He is a maggot and I hope he never wins another game in his life.
