SATURDAY PARTY
Players was a great venue for the party and we'll definitely be doing it there again the next time the Pats come to San Diego. We're estimating that we had about 225 people attend and so many of you let me know what a great time you had.
In addition to Pats fans from across the country, we had the PFW writers, Brian Lowe and the Patriots Today video crew and photographers, Patriots Marketing Director, Stacy James (Director of Media Relations), Tom Curran and Mary Paoletti of Comcast Sportsnet New England and the highlight of the evening - Robert and Myra Kraft.
Congrats to the door prize, raffle and silent auction winners. Some of the prizes included Patriots pennants, lanyards, window decals, Tom Brady jerseys, lifetime subscriptions to PFW, game tickets and minihelmets autographed by Robert Kraft there in person.
SUNDAY TAILGATE
We started off well with the caravan meeting up at the Courtyard early Sunday morning but had to call an audible when we arrived at our gate a bit too early and had to find a nearby parking lot to wait for the gates to open but I believe we all still made it in to the right location and we had plenty of space for all the Pats fans to join us.
There was great energy there as we counted down toward kick off and enjoyed plenty of food and drink. It was also nice that nearby Chargers fans pretty much stayed out of our way and didn't hassle us.
GAME
There were so many opportunities for the Pats to take control over this game that were not capitalized on but they did enough to win even if it took quite a few breaks. Not the prettiest win but 5 - 1 is nothing to sneeze at no matter how you got there.
FUND RAISING
Between party door collections, the raffle, ticket sales (donated by Mr. Kraft) and tailgate food and drink sales we netted just short of $2,000! That is fantastic sum of money that will go to support the local charity - San Diego United Way and the team charity - New England Patriots Charitable Foundation Kick Cancer Campaign. Way to go!

Everyone who came out and contributed monetarily to each of the fund raising activities and represented Patriots Nation enthusiastically and respectfully while cheering on our team to another Pats win.
