The funny thing is that people used to say the same thing about the young generation of the roaring twenties with all their fancy new gadgets that need electricity to work, their clothing, partying, lack of respect for authority, and so on.But they know who's trending on Twitter and how to take a perfect selfie. I can't help it.
The Patriots spent the better part of a week getting me all worked up for a fight, and I can't just turn that off. So, if they won't fight, then maybe we should.
Perhaps we could start with a thorough web site that builds around the Wells Report in Context and adds information that the Patriots couldn't or wouldn't. Perhaps we move on to demonstrations in front of NFL Headquarters. We could start a social media campaign to get the league to answer uncomfortable Deflategate questions... for instance, get them to admit that they don't care about air pressure by asking them how the Pats ended up having to play with football's at 16 psi.
I'm not happy with Kraft's decision, but I'd rather be a part of something like this than quit watching the Pats for good.
Thoughts?
Love the idea...just to clarify though... the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor. The Japanese did
In fact, I kinda notice here in the Army that all the youngins are much more conservative than my generation. Without getting into it, I think there is a dividing line in our culture; pre and post 9/11. I was overseas during that and came back to an angrier and less fun America.
This has to be the funniest title of a thread I've seen in a long time
I was in the military through 9/11. During the first PC wave of the 90's the civilian leadership of the military decided that military culture was not in line with the general sensibilities of the country (whether actual or perceived). The buzz words at that time were that we were moving from a "locker room" culture to a "business" or professional culture. The leadership fancied the military to start acting more like an office of people in suits made of camouflage. In fact, I kinda notice here in the Army that all the youngins are much more conservative than my generation.
