ESPN's Michael Smith reporting that Larry Johnson is en route to Cincinnati, and barring a breakdown, is expected to sign with Bengals.

End any talks of him coming here.

Re: Bengals sign RB Larry Johnson

Good luck to Larry for a second chance,Despite all the stuff he has done outside of football he really gave it all for the Chiefs and now the Playoff Bengals are the perfect medicine to get him back on track and start over again.

tell me that Larry Johnson is worse than Maroney.

I guess that is the end of Benson this year.

I'm not sure if he is, but he's not significantly better to have it worth bringing him in. Plus I'm willing to bet that we are expecting Morris and/or Taylor back at some point.

Better the Bengals than us. Boomer said this morning that he wasn't surprised if he went to the Bengals. Boomer said that Mike Brown judges a player's character by how cheap he can sign him. He pointed to Cedric Benson who no one wanted because of his character.

I think he would be great here for the year, we specialize in refurbishing players. The bengals took benson and polished him up, we could really use a bruiser like LJ for the rest of the year and then we can dump him in the offseason if it doesnt work out.
