considering I'm almost 40, that's maybe a little sad. :bricks:
40 is the new 30, get the t-shirt! Fitzy's awesome! :eat3:
I read on another board that Fitzy is a fraud. It said his name wasn't Paul Fitzgerald and he was actually a professional comedian from NYU and not some Boston fan posting from his home in the north shore. I find him funny anyhow, but it'll suck if he's a NY fan just making fun of Boston sports.
I haven't been this disenchanted since Meion's hold-out.
Naw, I'm just kidding... at least the guy is originally from NE. And stage names are completely understandable.... at one point in my life I was doing overnights on a radio station as "Bubba the Love Sponge" (not the original Bubba the Love Sponge from Tampa, just a cheap knock-off).
Um. He is originally from Boston and townienews.com is based out of Mass. Just because the guy lives in NY you are going to bash him? WTF.
Don't feel bad, I'm 38 and will be ordering a GFY shirt. Freakin awesome!
Yup... I don't think that's a very unusual reaction at all. But really.... from the very first one I saw, with the multiple camera angles and quick-cuts, you had to know he wasn't just a joe shmoe off the street, there was far too much production effort put into the bits for it to be just some drunk New England/Boston sports fan with a web cam.The guy is great, but for some reason, he was funnier when I thought he was an amateur fan just messing around. Knowing he's a pro is kind of a buzz kill for some reason.
