So, I was looking through espn.com's "expert" predictions (worthless for the most part), and noticed most of the Defensive Rookie of the Year votes went to either Jerod Mayo or Vernon Gholston. It got me thinking, why no love for Chris Long? He was the #2 pick! Now, I remember he was supposed to be a bit of a project, converting from DE to LB, but isn't Gholston doing the same? Then I thought, "Well, maybe he's not having a great camp." But from many accounts, Gholston isn't exactly setting the world on fire either. Has anyone heard how Long is doing so far in StL? I'm thinking I must have missed something, because literally no one picked him for DPOY.
