I don't think many of us, myself included, understood the stakes during the last CBA negotiation. Now, we do.
It's not just Goodell. Since the days of Rozelle and Tagliabue the NFL has morphed into a major media and entertainment enterprise.
I wouldn't rely on the Owners to do anything that diminishes the power of the Commissioner in a material way. They might change some pf the window dressing, but real change will only occur with a strike.
I have gone from a pro owners stance at the last CBA and morphed into Sally Field.
