Re: SB 42 on NFL Network

Watched it for the first time since. Not as agonizing as I thought it would be. Not to beat a dead horse but they did everything but win the damn game. So many easy missed opportunities wasted to put that game away. especially on that final drive.

I didn't realize how close Moss was to catching that final ball. Surprised Randy didn't try to jump for that ball because if he had 9 times out of 10 he comes down with it. Must of not had the footing to make the leap I guess.

Oh well, big game this Sunday with the chance to add a 4th super bowl title. Moving on.

I keep thinking of 4 things besides the obvious:

1. Randy almost making that incredible catch

2. Pierre Woods recovering the football unattached from the pile, which means he was down as soon as a Giant touched him. How did the refs miss that?

3. Belichick not going for the field goal.

4. The time running off the clock, big mistake by refs, in the final minutes.

All 4 points considered.

As far as number 4? The refs stopped the clock and looked they were going to measure the Jacobs run and then they don't even bother measuring? The measurement for the 4th and 1 and then the stoppage to place the ball after the run cost us about 40 seconds. It changed the entire sequence of events after those blunders.

Re: SB 42 on NFL Network

Patriots v. Rams SB on right now....

Re: SB 42 on NFL Network

Watching Ty Law in the Patriots defensive backfield is an all too vivid reminder of just how bad the current crop is.

Re: SB 42 on NFL Network

I'll watch 42 if we can win this one.

Brady to Patten for the TD. Patriots 14-3.

I'm starting to think that the Patriots just might have a chance to win this game.

Man, for being the receiving TE and not the blocking, Wiggins sure did have a gut.

In terms of size, Grant Williams was Vollmer/Solder before Vollmer/Solder:

6'7", 320 lbs

Damn you Willie and your bear-hug.

Patriots win

Snow angel time :D
