So I was not misinterpreting anything, but was poking fun at the league's continuing lack of respect for the paying customers.

Few Twitter folk have @ Miami as the opener.
Yep. Much rather them go there in the early season heat than going in late November.Perfect... Less likely to struggle down there in early sept rather than December also team will be jacked for home opener
Well, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Thousand of ticketholders are inconvenienced so that millions of TV viewers get a much better game.So I was not misinterpreting anything, but was poking fun at the league's continuing lack of respect for the paying customers.

Wow FWIW .. NE revs are home on 9/7 so it will def be an away game Sunday if played
FYI 9/7 is Sunday. But Revs games have been moved back one day in the past no problem. And believe me all of us Revs STH really want the game moved back to Saturday Night. So please I would love the Pats to play at home on Sunday.I assume it hasn't been an issue in the past to get the field prepared when soccer is played on a Saturday?
The Revs also have Saturday night games scheduled on 9/13, 10/04 and 10/25.

I am happy that one of the four games without Browner is against a passing challenged QB like Tannehill. He's an ok QB, but he is prone to making stupid mistakes and isn't a guy who typically can kill you in the air. Although he had a good game last year in Miami vs. the Pats, but that was with a depleted defense and a banged up Talib on Mike Wallace and not Revis.
If it is in Miami, I hope it's prime time. If it is, your boy Kontra will be there. Love that place even though I've had a beer bottle get buzzed past my head from multiple rows up and got sucker punched by a 30+ year old man when I was 18.
By sheer coincidence, the announcement is at the same time as the Mavs game. Be interesting to see who wins out on rating, although I think it'll do very little in getting Cuban to shut up.

Mark Cuban likely not thrilled that "NFL schedule'' is trending on Twitter while Mavericks playoff game isn't.
Sounds to me like Ben ColinColin doesn't know what he's talking about since the Pats host the Lions this year.Pats at lions week 12 per Ben ColinColin
