MNF: DEN vs CIN Game Thread & Manning Honorific Broadcast

FWIW I agree. I think it's closer than one might think, just because Jordy and Cobb are by far the best WR 1-2 tandem in the NFL. But even accounting for that, Rodgers' deep ball is better than Brady's by a significant enough margin that I would give him the overall nod. He's so good at all the things that Brady does well that I think his mobility and deep ball give him an edge.

That said, I don't really care. Brady's still elite and I don't anticipate him dropping off anytime soon.

Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL this year. He has advantages over Brady in terms of his mobility, ability to throw on the run, and his deep ball. He was also the best QB in the NFL in 2011, and then fell back to the pack. Brady's the best at finding ways to win regardless of his personnel. Maybe the best ever at that.

Andy the red haired d-bag,
Rarely makes big game throws,
And if you ever watched him,
You would really say he blows.
All of the competent coaches,
Used to laugh and call him names,
They never let poor Andy,
Play in any football games.

Then one chilly December night,
Payton came to play,
Andy with your hair so bright,
I'd like to blow this game tonight!

Then all New England loved him,
And they shouted out with glee,
Andy the red haired choker,
Thanks for playing less crappy!

Completely irrelevant question but does anyone know what happened to PATS16NO

should have had that pick

Four should have been interceptions by Manning tonight.

Way to drop a gift, jerk.

Gru "You've got to turn this game over to Manning"
Followed by a near pick

Bengals shooting themselves in the foot again.

Wow nice catch by Sanders

that was Manning's best throw of the night, great catch too.

You've gotta be kidding me.

What was the flag for?

Man I wish we had sanders...

wonder why more teams don't give Peyton a look he likes like DT on a LB and have the safety pretty much spy that matchup. Peyton sees DT on a LB and he'll lock in.
