EXACTLY!!1

I expect the refs to let the players play on the final play of the game.

I strongly disagree. Call the correct penalties no matter what the down, distance, time and quarter

You would be putting the game into the hands of the refs and players would start flopping on the final play of games like in the nba .

Let players play on the final play.

I think you have that backward. Because Kuechly knew the likelihood of a flag coming in was low, he bear-hugged Gronk. If they threw flags when penalites occur, like they're supposed to, it will cut back on crap like you saw at the end of the game.

I'd like to see the rules uniformly applied rather than uphold some unwritten code.

That didn't seem to work too well in the jets game

Holy crap I didn't see that at all from the stands, that is really really bad. WTF why was that not called? That is freaking BS thanks for raising my blood pressure.

well, if you were in the stands you'd know it was called.

then they picked up the flag

This is why i agree with the no call. When the patriots defense are trying to end a game winning drive i expect no calls within the last 10 seconds.

a penalty is a penalty is a penalty.... period

Just wait until the patriots defense is in the same situation.

I hope the refs stick by their guns when we need a stop.

Let the players play.

except for Gronk

don't let him play, allow the defense to commit an absolute mugging to keep him from playing

your premise is flawed beyond repair

The was a blatant foul in which the pats were warned not to do.

A blatant foul never called before or since.

And what's this 'warning?' Are defensive players not 'warned' about pass interference?

He's referring to the Jets game pushing penalty.

I can't be the only one that's okay with the refs not deciding the game?

I know what he's talking about. He makes it sound like the refs told Belichick before the game "Make sure you don't do this" and the Patriots ignored it, which is just fantasy.

they DID decide the game by picking up the flag and not calling the penalty!

by NOT calling the game to rule, start to finish, they DID decide the game

calling the game to rule is the referees NOT deciding the game

you don't do well with logic, do you?

Neither do you.

Find me 5 instances in which the refs called pass interference on game ending hail marys.
