Then it would be perfect if we took Alabama NT Jesse Williams
I should add Margus Hunt as a fall back at 52 if Carradine isn't there.
Close to perfect.
Why?
On that note too why, why, why, why, why are people so enamored with a NT who will offer zero pass rush when the run defense is already more than fine
I agree, plus he has short arms. I know same as Wilfork's but I don't see him as productive. Pats can take any old DL and plug him in and get good results. No need for a high pick.
Margus Hunt? Looked terrible in the Shrine game, or was it Senior Bowl. Just not a good football player.
I think we go with the top WR on our board unless hunt, tank or short are still there
Saw day 2 mock by Rotoworld with 4 teams looking at a QB
33. Jaguars - Nassib
38. Cardinals - Glennon
39. Jets - Smith
50. Bears - Barkley
I hope Jags and Cards are trying to Mallett! Then it would be perfect if we took Alabama NT Jesse Williams
Neither was Michael Johnson for a while. Went on to be BB's #1 FA hope.

Jets have made calls today to multiple teams to try to move up from 39th spot in second round to draft QB. Debated Geno Smith at No. 13.
Well, what round was he drafted in? Draft a complete project in the 2nd round? No thanks.
New draft.
2a. Woods/Allen
2b. trade up for higher 2nd (to get woods) picking up 4th and 5th
3a. Corey Lemonier (some call him lemon-head)
3c. McFadden CB
4. Josh Boyce WR
4. Kavon Webster CB
5. Joe Kruger DE
6. Joe Fauria TE
7. Sean Porter OLB
7. cooper taylor S
I strongly recommend that the Jets trade their 2014 1st-round pick to make this happen.
Oh, and a few predictions. I hit 3/4 in round 1 so lets see how I go this time.
Geno Smith will be the 4th QB taken after Ryan Nassib and Mike Glennon (yes Glennon!)
After no RBs going in round 1, 4 or 5 will go in round 2
Matt Barkley falls to the 3rd round and ends up in the best situation of any QB in the draft
After round 1 was dominated by guys in the trenches, round 2 will be dominated by QBs, RBs, WRs and CBs.
Toughest guys Luke Joeckel faced? "[Lerentee] McCray from Florida or Corey Lemonier from Auburn."... Lemonier could go 2nd, McCray in 4th.
Duron Harmon doesn't make the 53.
