Like Brady, he lost two Super Bowls that were winnable because of some last-minute heroics. I'd be a little bitter too.

Kurt has been far better than Faulk.

I kind of get his point. Brady had one bad game and one average game by his standards the previous weeks. And Kurt's list is all about "what have you done for me recently" - there are no-name bums on that list all the time if they put together a string of good games.

I think Willie does the same thing but with defenses.

While I understand the bitterness, as an analyst he's expected to put that aside. If he can't or won't then his credibility as an analyst is lacking.

Faulk hasn't been able to put it aside many times now. Tomlinson was just on The Opening Drive on SiriusXM two days ago whining that the Patriots get all the calls by the referees and then compared it to the calls Jordan, Kobe, and LeBron get in the NBA.

Yeah, we do get all the calls - the pass interference ones.

The Pats get favorable calls from time to time, but what team doesn't? We've also been the target for some horrific calls over the years. The Ravens game from this past season and the face guarding in the '06 AFCCG come immediately to mind.

Does that say Freeman, as in Josh Freeman?

Freeman actually hasn't been THAT bad this year. That said, though, teams still haven't figured out that taking away Jackson from those 9 routes and deep posts that he loves to run would severely limit Freeman.

Talking about the Patriots getting calls is just incredibly funny, considering we're a bad holding call on Gronkowski, a string of ridiculous penalties against Baltimore, and a pass interference non-call on a pass to Branch away from being 8-0.

I'd be surprised if I ever saw Brady publicly act bitter in anyway about those losses. He's a bit classier than Warner that way.

Anything new here?! Warner is a Mediot, their job is to stir up and cause stuff that, well, makes this a thread. I'll take Brady & Pats any day and twice on Sundays, After all Pats are NOW GREATEST SHOW played on any field. I believe Pats just broke Warner's & Rams record of consecutive games for over 350 yds total offense in 17 regular season games?

Not unreasonable to have P. Manning and Rodgers at the top. I suspect they moved Freeman up to create a little hype around a new "name" rather than hype the "usual suspects", so it's bogus and I disagree, but its understandable.

Unfortunately, Warner lost his credibility with me as "objective" when it comes to the Patriots a long time ago. Warner has to control his emotions better, since they all clearly date back to his brush with Sports immortality in SB's XXXVI and XLIII, with the latter exacerbated by another "magic" catch. He came close to three rings and he knows that would have made all the difference both to his legacy and to his post-football career.

I do think his judgment is off in general because of a few too many hits to the head over a long career.

Maybe it is just the times that I have seen him, but this year Marshall Faulk seems to have had some sort of epiphany and is not at all the same Pats hater that he was for so very long prior to this season.

On the other hand Warner's bitterness seems to have actually festered and grown rather than dissipate.

Of course how much of that is genuine and how much of that is set up by producers in pre-production meetings is anybody's guess. Controversial opinions create debate, that fuels interest in a show, and that drives ratings and profits. It is often difficult if not impossible to tell what viewpoints are real and which ones are scripted.

He's definitely been good, especially the last few weeks where he's torn it up. But top 5 and ahead of Brady

Kurt has never been anything but class. He only spoke up and only once when it was said the Pats taped their practice. Once he rumor was squashed, he's never said anything and has been all class. Of course he hates it but he's someone who I have a great deal of respect for based on who he is and the journey he took to get there. He's one of the truly "good guys".

I'll never understand his secret dislike of the Pats.

im not disagreeing with you per se...but Rodgers hasnt been spectacular this year by any means. His only 2 games that were very good were against Houston and St. Louis (i dont count 28 points against NO, a team that gives up an average of over 30, good). granted he doesnt benefit from any sort of run game like brady this year.

Freeman's last couple games have been very good...even if he hasnt won all of them.

Rodgers is a top 5 QB. Hes on a pace to throw 42 TDs, throw only 8 picks and complete almost 70% of his passes.

Some folks have expectations that are through the roof.
