Jules and Jim
Jimmy Garoppolo has a theory on why Julian Edelman is so clutch
It sounds like what he's saying is that Edelman makes his choices about how exactly he'll run a route, based on the defense, and that somehow the QB is able to infer reliably exactly what those choices will be.
PS. The movie I'm referring to is almost the opposite of the quote, but so be it -- I couldn't resist the wordplay. Great film, but annoying.
But Jules, he does a great job. He’s one of those guys that, just the body language that he uses and how he runs his routes so specifically, I mean probably going back to him being a quarterback has something to do with that, but he just makes it so much easier on the quarterback. Finding the soft spot in the zones and everything, it really makes my job a whole lot easier.
