I was so happy to see him go
This upsets me
LMAO that was the reason we lost? I'll list you the reasons we lost;
1. Belichick benching Butler
2. The defensive coaching
3. The defensive execution.
McDaniels and Brady made that's Eagles defense look like a joke. Just not as much of a joke as ours.
I agree. But potentially a lawsuit that the Colts were damaged, and the team has hired assistants that are for and from Josh. I could see the league being bastards.
The colts shouldnt have announced this until the contract was signed especially after hearing rumors last week that he is having second thoughts.
they said on NFL network they thing it is either now or after 2018 season.WOW.
Two quick thoughts that occur to me....
1) I believe McDaniels has been given strong assurances (probably contractual ones) that he will be the next HC of the NEP. Because this move has blown up any chance of any non-NE team hiring him as HC. If he wants to be HC it's now NE or nothing. So for him to back out at the last second means he's been promised the job.
2) Since I also don't think McDaniels is going to want to wait around to be HC (why bother agreeing to take the Indy job), I also believe this signals loud and clear that Belichick is a short-timer. I now think Belichick is going to resign either at the end of the 2018 season or in a stunner within the next two weeks.
Philly’s d sucked ass worse than ne’s.
Idk about this. Belichick stepping down in the not too distant future?
Ha. Based on what?If it's between him and McDaniels? - ABSOLUTELY
they said on NFL network they thing it is either now or after 2018 season.
Not even close if you've been around in the 60s and 70s.
it could legal system in courts, but then it would just be monetary damages I think.I suppose the NFL would have to hold them self and their rules regarding hiring talent from Superbowl and playoff teams then.
Not hold Josh or the pats accountable for following those rules
Mortensen is reporting JM hired 11 of 12 assistants before backing out of the deal.
No one has signed a deal there. Sorry to spoil your party.I fear the Colts may have a case and the NFL does hate us. Apparently some of the coaches that Josh brought in to Indy have signed deals.. they will be there or get paid. I hope Kraft knows what he is doing because Josh worth 1st round draft picks. We need talent badly.
