I'm sure most people know this but for the people that aren't aware, the next two games will decide which team wins the division. The king of tightness breaks it down like this:
*A Pats win would clinch division.
*If the Pats and Jets both lose Sunday - the Pats will win division.
*If the Pats lose their next two games and the Jets win their next two games leaving both teams at 10-6 - Jets win the division because they will have a better conference record at 7-5 to the Pats 6-6.
I would like to see the Jets get the #5 seed and come back to Gillette for a rematch of that fluke game that consisted of rain and pourus field conditions. The only way I see that happening is having Denver losing one more game, Cincinnati losing more game and the Jets winning their next two games should put them into the 5th spot. Denver and Cincinnati play this weekend. That means New England must take care of business and win out as well. Should be interesting to see who comes out on top. The game in Tennessee might not be meaningless after all.
P.S. Regarding the smile next to my title, I have no idea why I put that.
