It's far too early to guess anything about the '07 season. If you posed your question last year at this time, except used the names McGinest, Branch, Givens, and Vinatieri, where would you have expected the team to finish? Now's just not the time to ask that question.
The Patriots have TEs Watson and Thomas on the roster in addition to Graham. Also, Garrett Mills can be slotted as a TE.
That leaves Samuel. And his future with the Patriots is the $64,000 question.
I think the Pats will do whatever it takes to keep Samuel from becoming another disaster, PR wise, like Branch was.
They can not afford to have anaother situation like what happened with Branch. Not so much talent wise, but the harm it does to their image and it effects how potential free agents will look at them.
I think that they will take care of business, and get it done and not let it get out of hand..
That to me, is the smart thing to do...There is far too much at stake here than just the signing of ONE player.... there could be many repurcussions if they end up in another war like with the Branch situation, last year.
If Assnte and Graham leave for greener pastures where do we go in 2007-08 season? - This includes no signing of any major impact FA player.
Is that with you or Josh McDaniels as offensive coordinator?1st seed in the AFC, with, or without them.
If we start this BS thing with Samuel, we might see Peyton Manning in yet another Super Bowl.If we go through another BS thing with Samuel, like we did Branch, I will start a rally out in front of Gillette stadium.
And that's a good thing. Would you want Felger and Gresh running our draft, getting advice from Greenberg?Well it happened with Milloy and it happened with Law and it happened with Andruzzi and on and on and on - Don't think BB or the FO cares S--t about what the media and critics think
