If Assnte and Graham leave for greener pastures where do we go in 2007-08 season? - This includes no signing of any major impact FA player.

If we dont add some help in the LB and saftey help, plus one or two solid WR we are looking at 9-7 or 10-6 , only for the simple fact we have Tom Brady and Bill Belichick..

But I see us bringing help on both sides of the ball and should end up 12-4 again..:rocker:

It's far too early to guess anything about the '07 season. If you posed your question last year at this time, except used the names McGinest, Branch, Givens, and Vinatieri, where would you have expected the team to finish? Now's just not the time to ask that question.

The Patriots have TEs Watson and Thomas on the roster in addition to Graham. Also, Garrett Mills can be slotted as a TE.

That leaves Samuel. And his future with the Patriots is the $64,000 question.

Still gotta wonder if BB grabs a late round TE despite what he has now-I can't remember a draft where he didnt take one, even if he has some good ones already,of course it is uneccesary but I have seen stranger things happen..

I think the Pats will do whatever it takes to keep Samuel from becoming another disaster, PR wise, like Branch was.

They can not afford to have anaother situation like what happened with Branch. Not so much talent wise, but the harm it does to their image and it effects how potential free agents will look at them.

I think that they will take care of business, and get it done and not let it get out of hand..

That to me, is the smart thing to do...There is far too much at stake here than just the signing of ONE player.... there could be many repurcussions if they end up in another war like with the Branch situation, last year.

Well it happened with Milloy and it happened with Law and it happened with Andruzzi and on and on and on - Don't think BB or the FO cares S--t about what the media and critics think , they will do what it takes and is best for the team, financially and in the near future - Dont think the outsiders will make the decision for them,It hasn't happened in years and nothing I see says it stops now-they will do what they want to and will only keep him if they can work a deal out favoring both sides .

Errrmmm... what about the draft? There's no way to tell this early.

I'd say the Pats, if they spend their cap money (with or without Asante/Graham) can probably look forward to another East title but probably be seeded outside of the bye again.

Anything involving a wild-card game spells doom for the Pats. This trend is disturbing.

If we go through another BS thing with Samuel, like we did Branch, I will start a rally out in front of Gillette stadium.

If we start this BS thing with Samuel, we might see Peyton Manning in yet another Super Bowl.

10-6 but still win the division.

0-16

We're doomed. I'm going to go back to being a Giants fan like I was pre-AFL.

And that's a good thing. Would you want Felger and Gresh running our draft, getting advice from Greenberg?

No but you gotta admit those FO guys in SD have had drafts in the past few years that noone has been better at including our staff - True that has meant squat so far but with continued successful drafts like they have been getting in the last few years and SD might grab a SB or two of thier own in the near future...If they get rid of Marty that is first - Marty is a good coach,Just not a Super Bowl caliber one and likely never will be.

Every one is replaceable on this team, with the exception of #12, if anything look for them to lock up Warren and Wilfork long term. This team is built in the trenches and no need to change this formula.

What's funny is that Aqua was probably one of the one's who voted for 6 or less wins. Haha.

Asants ia FA on march 1 AND BRANCH WAS ON CONTRACT WHO HELD OUT. how the heck is asante going to hold the FO without being a patriot?

we will be fine but we have a very hard schedule so i would say 11-5 win the divison.
