Also, as lame as this is going to sound I think that given we all are Patriots fans we have something to be thankful for together. I think that too often we get caught up in championship expectations, as that is what should be demanded of such a great organization. However, I think that it is also important to recognize how lucky we all have been to experience the reign of this coach, the greatest ever to coach the game. While not without his flaws, he has given us as fans the greatest franchise of the past decade. I think that we all agree that he is the best in the world at his job, but he also elevated the expectations of all teams within this market. This team has not only educated all of us so much, but has provided a constantly evolving, hyper interesting story to follow season by season. There aren't many fan bases who have had the opportunity to experience such total mastery of the sport. From developing coaches, to developing so many great players, to the triumphant highs and soul crushing lows. It has been a great ride for all of us these past ten years. I think that too often we become overly obsessed with championships, and rightfully so, but in the spirit of the holiday we have so much to be appreciative of. Enjoy it, everyone, because it won't last forever.
Yes, sports in ultimately inconsequental, and I know that all of our lives have given us something far more tangible to be thankful for but this team, this coach, and this organization have given us a lot.
It will be a small affair at my house this year: Just me an one of my daughters and my son. I'm thankful for many things this year, even though financially we're in a mess. We're together, we have a roof over our heads, there's food on the table and we can eat and watch football. That's more than a lot of folks have, and that's something to consider.
I am also thankful to be living in New England's Golden Era: Consistently competitive, a great owner, coach, and QB. A wonderful record for over a decade. I'm thankful for being able to witness this, especially after the tribulations of the 70's, 80's & 90's.
I'm thankful for a fan base, and especially for this board, with a consistently solid core of posters, and a high level of quality postings. Heck, we even seem to attract a better quality of trolls. :singing:
But above all, my best wishes to everyone here. Thanks for making this board a great place to visit and to hang out at. It's always a highlight of my day.

Wishing you all good food, good family and good football tomorrow!! Happy Turkey Day everyone!!
I am still waiting for my truducken. Been wanting it for the last 5 years.
His Turducken consists of a duck inside a chicken inside a turkey . . . back inside the original duck.
A shame we won't have GRONKSGIVING this year.
