Wishing you all good food, good family and good football tomorrow!! Happy Turkey Day everyone!!
you too...enjoy the Holiday
I hope you all enjoy a relaxing day/week of rest and good food with your families.
As we head into the playoffs in the catbird seat, mere weeks after we were doomed and hopeless and all our player acquisitions for years declared failures, I'd like to give thanks that Bill Belichick is running this team, not pundits and posters.
Wishing everyone a great and Happy Thanksgiving Day. Let us not forget all our loved ones and our Military also who cannot be here with us. As is custom in our home, we set a place for them in thanks and rememberance.
Bump to that!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I second that bump!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and enjoy!
Im jewish and im not celebrating this holiday but happy thanksgiving to everyone who does.
What's being Jewish got to do with not celebrating Thanksgiving?
Hope that everyone has a great day. Some good football on- my first year with NFLN and the Ravens-49ers should be a good one.:rocker:
Happy Thanksgiving to all... even the "Yeah, Butts..."!
And especially to the people who serve in our military and their loved ones.
My bad, we just dont celebrate it here in israel (i was mistakin' it with easter).
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Be thankful for what we have...
...and don't forget the turkey!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Hope you and your families have a good day!
Happy Thanksgiving...we had ours in Oct and it was spectacular!
I am thankful i decided to pick up that snowblower as over a foot of snow continues to fall...
We got some great games tmr, sucks I have to go to work, a good suck...I will consider myself sucked.
And of course thankful for an awesome family, great friends, having my feet hit the floor every morning, a great team and great neighbors...
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Also, as lame as this is going to sound I think that given we all are Patriots fans we have something to be thankful for together. I think that too often we get caught up in championship expectations, as that is what should be demanded of such a great organization. However, I think that it is also important to recognize how lucky we all have been to experience the reign of this coach, the greatest ever to coach the game. While not without his flaws, he has given us as fans the greatest franchise of the past decade. I think that we all agree that he is the best in the world at his job, but he also elevated the expectations of all teams within this market. This team has not only educated all of us so much, but has provided a constantly evolving, hyper interesting story to follow season by season. There aren't many fan bases who have had the opportunity to experience such total mastery of the sport. From developing coaches, to developing so many great players, to the triumphant highs and soul crushing lows. It has been a great ride for all of us these past ten years. I think that too often we become overly obsessed with championships, and rightfully so, but in the spirit of the holiday we have so much to be appreciative of. Enjoy it, everyone, because it won't last forever.
Yes, sports in ultimately inconsequental, and I know that all of our lives have given us something far more tangible to be thankful for but this team, this coach, and this organization have given us a lot.
Happy Thanksgiving to All fans of FOOTBALL !!
A Special Shout Out to our military serving all around the world......
Stay safe and enjoy the holiday :rocker:
Sorry man, but couldn't help but notice the naval aviation badge in your sig. Combine that with your username and I couldn't help but get an inkling. Thanks. There's been a lot of guys who took off from carriers in my family.
Happy Thankgiving to all my fellow Pats Fans. Thanks for the all insights, the joys, the sorrows, and the laughs! Blessing to you on Thanksgiving and in the days that follow.
same to everyone on here..will be a slow day for me..not much going on..oh well..at least there is football on
It's dead simple. If football gives you pleasure, be thankful. And, if it doesn't, what are you doing watching and worrying about it?
Like Jay, though, I hope you all have lots, lots more to be thankful for and wish you a great day.
A happy Thanksgiving to you all and shall we hope for A great meal with family and friends PLUS.....
A Lions beat down of the Packers who want to duplicate our perfect regular season of 2007.......
A Dolphins upset of the Cowboys as they climb up the cellar of the East closer to the Jets and MOST IMPORTANT .....
An annihilation of the Ravens by Gore and the 49ers later in the evening :rocker:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Looking forward to the cooking of 2 birds this week. Go Pats.
It will be a small affair at my house this year: Just me an one of my daughters and my son. I'm thankful for many things this year, even though financially we're in a mess. We're together, we have a roof over our heads, there's food on the table and we can eat and watch football. That's more than a lot of folks have, and that's something to consider.
I am also thankful to be living in New England's Golden Era: Consistently competitive, a great owner, coach, and QB. A wonderful record for over a decade. I'm thankful for being able to witness this, especially after the tribulations of the 70's, 80's & 90's.
I'm thankful for a fan base, and especially for this board, with a consistently solid core of posters, and a high level of quality postings. Heck, we even seem to attract a better quality of trolls. :singing:
But above all, my best wishes to everyone here. Thanks for making this board a great place to visit and to hang out at. It's always a highlight of my day.
A lot of people's finances are in a mess these days. You're putting a roof over your kids heads and food on their plate. As a man that's something to be proud of. They know they're safe and that on this arbitrary piece of dirt can be whatever they want to be if they apply themselves. They also probably know that a lot of good men gave their lives so that they could have that. That alone is a lot to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving, man.
A shame we won't have GRONKSGIVING this year.
Happy Thanksgiving to all...
I find it a pleasure to be able to gain and experience so much football knowledge by so many on this forum, and have enjoyed many great discussions over the yrs.
Indeed. Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Patriot fans. Between all of the "made of glass" and "this defense sucks" threads over the course of the season........... we all truly have MUCH to be thankful for.
