It's easy, and only takes a few moments.doesn't explain the pathological lying since high school. Why have his two older brothers remained in complete radio silence about their ginger haired little no hope dopey brother? Why has his gay brother in LA savagely rebuked Roger and Roger's lack of morals and character in published media? Roger Goodell is a vainglorious megalomaniac being used by billionaires to front for their incredibly self perpetuating cash cow, the NFL. He's that suspicious mole that has blown up into full blown melanoma. A cancerous ,cantakerous cretin given free reign to burn the ants in his little farm with a magnifying glass.
We disagree about Goodell's basic character. I see him as a true believing crusader who considers himself the only logical arbiter of righteousness, now that he's the commissioner, and that seems to be a common understanding of the man in general circles.
I don't believe he can hold the job and be as stupid as you're suggesting. I think he has to be smart enough to know that what he's saying and doing is dishonest.
Admittedly, the article Joker dredged up gives me some pause, as do the articles about him being unable to keep his temper in negotiations, except through the expedient of running out of the room.
Nothing in what you quoted from me refers to Goodell's intelligence.
One can draw the inference that he believes what he's doing is right. I don't see how he can believe that without holding very stupid opinions.
As someone posted last week, he came from a very well connected familyNothing in what you quoted from me refers to Goodell's intelligence.
He's an idiot, not a coward, he's been standing up for what he believes is right, he's just too arrogant and ignorant to see that he's an idiot. He's not backing down because he thinks he's right.

Based on what he has made, a Goodell buyout -- should owners want him out -- could cost about $150M. His contract expires in March 2019
Looks like Goodell isn't going anywhere. Obviously the hypocritical NFL only signs contracts with partially guaranteed money with the players. Goodell will continue to be a part of our lives for four more years and probably many more after that. He's not the only hard-headed ******* with authority in the NFL.
That he wasn't fired after the Ray Rice debacle tells you all you need to know about NFL owners. Kraft being a l0ud supporter of Goodell after that event tells you where his head is, we all like to dump on Tony Massorati on here, but he was has been spot on, when it comes to this issue. He is right to say that Goodell lost all credibility after the Ray Rice incident, that the people whom he works for hasn't replaced him a year later, and are all over the press supporting him tells you a lot about the owners of the NFL.#FireGoodell
Been saying it for years. He should've been fired after the "Replacement Refs" thing. He's screwed up over and over again. He's weak minded, people don't respect him, and he has no leadership skills.
A true leader wouldn't have "leaks" coming out from their office. If they did have leaks, a true leader wouldve made sure those FALSE leaks wouldve been corrected immediately…. But nope. Goodell is a beta male, follower, yes-man. Worst commissioner in sports history.
