Jay Glazer:Kevin O'connell has been so useful that ryan made him team captain today

said..he made o'connell sit with every offensive coach andtell them how they react to every blitz. and that the pats were worried about the jets d that they started breaking film on that defense much early in the season.

LMAO. Is he even active? This is just a psychological game by Ryan that BB will get a good laugh over.

    He's listed as inactive.

Man, do I hope the Pats beat these clowns on shorter rest and without Mayo and Welker.

It would effectively end their silly little season.

It seems that's what the pick up was all about.;) That's the only way O'Connell's sorry arse can make anyone's team.

This is becoming a must win game for the Jets. If the Pats do not win, they'll move on just as they've always done, and will work towards playing their best football the following week. If the Jets choke, it will be a circus of excuses and *****ing.

I've got to give Ryan credit. I don't know if he's gotten into the heads of the Patriots, but he's certainly succeeded in doing so with the Patriots' fan base.

Thats what makes it so funny. BB prepares to win the game, Ryan prepares to make people think he is going to win.
Smoke and mirrors doesnt win championships.

Pats just need to weather the initial storm. As soon as the Jets' adrenaline wears off, game over.

I understand that Ryan is trying to change the way this team has been but after this week there setting themselves up for a downfall. It will be a bittersweet victory for the Pats today. I can't wait to see how the Jest will react after the game.

Didn't something just like this happen two years ago before the season opener? A guy left one team and went to another?

I love Rex Ryan, what a treasure.

I got a feeling there will be a spike in PSLs sales.

Well, Jets* fans are probably dumb enough to shell out thousands of dollars for the "right" to buy something, so that wouldn't surprise me.
