GBN is generally known for poor mocks.
Their first 2 picks are not bad picks - Clay Matthews and Darius Butler are both good players. Matthews is probably the most common mock pick for the Pats at 23, and while I don't think he is the best fit at either 3-4 OLB or SILB I can't single them out based on that. Butler is a solid CB and several people's pick even at 23 on this board, so I can't fault them at 34, even though I would prefer to go in a different direction. Give me 2/3 of Barwin, Ayers and Beatty over those 2 picks and I would be happy.
Their 3rd round picks aren't horrible, though I prefer other players. If we are going to go ILB I prefer Jason Williams. I prefer TJ Lang and Trevor Canfield at OG to Levitre. And, if they are going to have us take a TE, James Casey at 89 would be a much better value and fit than Cornelius Ingram.
Where their mock turns ludicrous is at 47 and 58. Cornelius Ingram and Jarius Byrd, when there are so many other players available: Larry English (48), Sean Smith (51), Clint Sintim (52), Jarron Gilbert (67), Patrick Chung (68), Eric Wood (71), William Moore (74), Chip Vaughn (82) and James Casey (91) would all be better picks.
