Here we go:
- Game balls to the entire o-line. All week we heard how great the Bills' d-line was and how the Pats' o-line had no chance especially after Mankins was downgraded to out. The o-line won the war in the trenches.
- As bad as the safeties were, give it up to the CBs. McCourty looked like the McCourty of his rookie year. The other CBs pretty much locked down the other side. For the second time in three games, the Pats pretty much shut down the the primary WR.
- I think the one team that has the best shot at beating the New England Patriots are the New England Patriots. This game should have been a 65-7 rout. Not being able to hold onto the ball by guys who don't fumble was a crusher in the first half.
- As long as they commit to it, this could easily be the best running game the Pats has have since 2004. Both Ridley and Boldin were decisive shifty and fast.
- I went to the store after the game and bought a carton of milk and there was a picture of Mario Williams on it. Did he play today?
- It may be time to give Wilson playing time over Gregory. Gregory has played like crap for two games straight. Unfortunately, Chung wasn't much better.
- Wilfork is a beast (as if we didn't know that). The way he hit Jones on that catch, maybe they should put him at safety.
- Good day for the rookies. Hightower had a sack and 2 tackles (one for a loss) in limited play. Jones had a sack, 5 tackles (2 for loss), and 2 QB hits. Wilson had an INT and three tackles.
- This offense has shown it can be every bit unstoppable as any other year. They just need to work on consistency. I can't wait for Hernandez to get back and be healthy.
