This is awesome. Link:
Giants raised PSI concerns during, not after, Steelers game

That’s why you don’t rely on somebody else testing them,” Goodell said. “They are using a different device. Somebody else is testing them. They have to be tested by the officials who use the same device to make sure there is accuracy in that.”

And that, friends, is called a smoking gun.

The gun is emitting white puffs because DeflateGate I proceeded even though two different gauges were used by the officials before the game — and those gauges varied by roughly 0.4 PSI. To make matters worse, the experts with a reputation for massaging science to meet the needs of their clients discarded the best recollection of referee Walt Anderson regarding the use of the varying gauges, arguably in order to make the evidence fit neatly inside the “someone deflated the footballs” box.

Boom!

Is it wishful thinking to believe that Florio's voice matters just enough to get the attention of enough people who matter in the league so some serious questions can be asked about why Goodell still has a job?

Refresh my memory, isn't it or wasn't it illegal for any team to have a gauge on the sideline? Isn't this considered tampering with a ball? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I read this during the absurdity from a couple of years ago.

"That’s why you don’t rely on somebody else testing them. They are using a different device. Somebody else is testing them. They have to be tested by the officials who use the same device to make sure there is accuracy in that.” - Goodell

"At halftime, under Riveron‟s supervision, two alternate game officials (Clete Blakeman and Dyrol Prioleau) tested eleven Patriots game balls and four Colts game balls." - The Wells Report, Executive Summary

The big problem is the Boston media. They hitched their wagon to he's guilty so much that they cannot get on board this train. They should all be fired and run out of town because they cannot do the job that is required.

the Pat's should file a complaint against the Broncos Sunday. It's expected to be in the 20s.

If Kraft had any balls he'd see the "much ado" comment as the slap in the face it is and get his lawyers to draft a formal complaint right now. And deliver it to the League in the middle of the second half on Sunday.

Yes, it is wishful thinking.

I'm just enjoying seeing Herr Goodell ripped.

It's worse than that.

Shank is actively running around campaigning and somehow blaming the PATRIOTS for keeping the story alive when nobody has said anything despite repeated questioning by the media. The one slip by Jonathan Kraft was a 5 second wisecrack after he was asked a 3rd time. Somehow THAT got turned into a full column by CHB allowing him to ignore the statement victory on national TV the night before.

Aye, but he doesn't.

The problem is one doesn't sue oneself.

The NFL is part of his business. People have got to stop thinking about him being the owner of the New England Patriots - - that's just for public consumption. He is merely a Regional Sales Manager (with equity) for the NFL. All the "owners" are.

Would he like the Pats to win - - of course - - there is a very big part of him that experienced that team since 1960. However, that sentiment is nice, but his is a part owner of the NFL......and THAT is the trillion dollar baby. It is why idiots who couldn't run a popsicle stand like Irsay or Woody Johnson or whoever the freak is running the Oakland Raiders in a broken down old baseball stadium where they tarpaulin off the upper deck still make tons of money from this. - - it's the NFL that is the determinant of profit, not the individual team.

And one does not sue oneself. (But can do plenty of lip service to keep the local customers fooled).

Anyone lamenting how he "doesn't have the balls to stand up to the NFL" doesn't understand the reality of the situation. He is not "one of us" but hopes you remain fooled regarding that. I fully admit, I used to be.

Robert sold his soul, and his balls, because $5 billion just isn't enough to get around these days.

They should demand that the officials measure the balls on the field on live TV and announce the results on the PA system.

NFL politics is looking a lot like US politics. The deflated footballs a couple years ago were a myth. The NFL does not have facts to support it...they would have lost in court if the focus was simply about the ball inflation. Instead, the NFL gets their way from complacent fans, and people that are fine with their lies because they hate NE.

How can Florio pummel something that doesn't exist?
