Using a hypothetical that certainly could become reality, as Title IX has so starkly demonstrated, the BU men's team is dismantled just as the PC men's baseball team was. OK, then you have MEN who want to play collegiate hockey as students of B.U. According to you, on an individual basis, any single man should not EVER be excluded from trying out and making the B.U. hockey team that's left, due to Title IX.

I don't know about the girl dying thing, but the lawsuit angle is potentially significant. We saw a similar situation in golf, with Casey Martin, where the PGA was forced to change its rules in order to accomodate a handicapped individual. People who ignore such issues have either have agendas that need to be questioned and explored, or are just not really prepared for the full, honest discussion that is warranted.

No. The original point is that the NFL Owners change the rules regarding women playing and now a woman is taking them up on it by participating in a Regional Combine. And the reaction from you and a few others has been pathetic. You are acting like the NFL Owners have said that YOU have to cut your balls off when that is the farthest thing from the truth.

I'm already disturbed by the obvious double standard set by the league regarding regular season officiating as opposed to post season....I'm of the opinion that the NFL as we have known it doesn't even exist anymore. I agree on almost everything you said. Giving gender equality to collegiate athletics was a simple enough thing to reasonably remedy. However, that single issue was used as a vehicle to drive in a truckload of changes based on the PC protagonists' emotional-illogical ideas.
Unfortunately, due to the PC world we now live in where public debate gets you labeled anti-female, even if a majority believed it is unfair and there needs to be changes, it isn't going to happen. The PC crowd wins the day with their emotion based 'thinking' by tearing down the opposition as they frequently can't win on the merits.
