    He was my high school football coach (Sharon High). Good guy, but man did we have a bad football team.

    I had the opportunity of working with Roland when he was the football coach in Sharon. This guy is the real deal as this article points out. A true breath of fresh air!

    This was a great article. You read so many things about former players who are broke down in more ways than one so it's wonderful to hear that Roland is doing so well.

    11 years. I never realized that. we had some marvelous talent at DB in that era including my namesake, Lippet. Tim fox and Fred Marion.

    Roland was certainly consistent, that's a longtime.

    Had to laugh about the part where John Hannah supervises the city workers.

    Hannah left Somerville High after compiling a dismal 0-11 record. City workers complained of his abrasive management style.

    Imagine you're used to riding around in the truck and leaning on a shovel a few hours, then John Hannah walks in.

    AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
