I am suprised Britt made it. From what I saw he seemed to struggle in the preseason.

Not really because of Light's and Kaczur's health (he just came back). The rookie O'Callagan starts. Britt is an emergency LT.

Not cut, was he?

Also don't see Stone as a cut.

Stone was cut with the Beisel/Warfield/Chad cuts yesterday.

I'm surprised that Pierre Woods got on there, because I know nothing about the guy. It's good to see UDFAs getting a shot though. 2 QBs makes some sense on the grounds that if you're down to your third QB, you aren't about to win the Superbowl. I like Evans at RB, as he adds real power to the backfield.
Oh, and if anyone can work out what is going to happen with the Branch situation, can they tell me? I'm very confused by it all.

Woods was tearing it up in pre-season (he was outplaying our draft pick Mincey)

IMHO, Branch is going to be traded either now to the Seahawks or will be franchised next season and traded in the off-season.

You did that with cut and paste, didn't you. See, I learned your wily ways! :p

Seriously, thanks for getting that up here so fast.

Yeah, I made that up around 4 when I thought the cuts would come out. Unfortunately, they didn't, so I had to go out from 5-7, when I surely thought they'd be out. But because of the delay, I got back, my thread was still ready to be posted, but the cuts weren't out!

I kept telling y'all that Kaczur is not ready to play for a few more weeks. The Patriots could not go in to a game with no one to back up either Offensive tackle. Britt was a lock.

Mrucz and Yates were close. But Yates has PS eleigibility and Mrucz doesn't. Probably the difference.

Guss Scott was such a wasted 3rd round pick.

Klecko will be missed. :(

Marquise Hill made it. And the suprise is Le Kevin Smith made it.

"You win in the Trenches" and "There are only so many 300 lb men who can move".

Now who do you suppose uttered those words. Nine Offensive linemen and Eight Defesnive Linemen were kept. Every one fits the Patriots style and gameplans.

And probably a few more to groom on the PS.:D

ok so i jus checked to see if i was right about this statement

2000: jr redmond-helped us out in sb36 and the tuck bowl, but overall was def a dissapointment

2001: brock williams, wow

2002, 2003: none

2004: gus scott, rarely saw the field due to injuries

2005: ellis hobbs-outstanding pick
nick kaczur-great pick

2006: david thomas

so it looked like we turned a corner in the third round in 2005
maybe they were so tired at the end of day one the first few yrs

Hard to call Redmond a disappointment, for a third round back, he accomplished a lot. Not Curtis Martin level accomplishments, but he helped the team win a championship. Brock Williams got hurt, not much else to say there. Guss Scott the same, and it looked like he could play some when he was healthy. Really, it's been more bad luck than anything in recent years with the third round, but I think last year's and this year's picks will redeem this regime's track record there.

That was a year when we drafted two safeties in successive rounds, neither of whom contributed (Dexter Reid in the 4th). In hindsight, we'd have done better to package the two and trade up for a decent one ...

Will never forget Redmond's play on the final drive of XXXVI.
