Over the past 16 years or so, it is a joy to hear the opposing team after a loss to NE look for reasons why they lost, belittle (or question) how the Patriots win and treat the loss as if the world was ending.
These nuggets from the Cardinals' brass are enjoyable reads.
Why weren't they ready to play? Palmer and his receivers got crossed up a couple of times but I don't think they played poorly or were unprepared? Arians is a good coach. he gets his guys ready to play. His team was outplayed but to say they were not ready to play is crap. They almost won for god's sake.
...and another turd drop on the Patriots ability to win.
Next time don't start a rookie who has played CB who was a running back last year and has approximately 29 minutes of playing time at the position and maybe the "backup" won't drop a TD pass over your shoulder next time. Additionally, this yutz goes on to discount the ability of a 4x SB winning coach to get a player ready to play. Idiot.
It seems to me the the Bidwell family took a big bite out of his ass last night.
Cardinals GM: Loss to Patriots 'unacceptable'

After the game Sunday night, coach Bruce Arians didn't think his team was prepared well enough. "We were obviously not ready to play," Arians said during his postgame press conference. "They outplayed us and we will learn from it and grow from it and continue.

Keim said Monday morning he doesn't believe in good losses.
"Not when you're playing a back-up quarterback and they're missing some playmakers and it's a game at home," he said. "Our mindset is you cannot lose those games in front of our crowd."

He said he's been focused on building a "talented group." He noted that when the Cardinals' roster doesn't play to its level, "then we're going to have disappointment, and that's certainly what happened last night."
"We got to regroup," Keim said. "It's the-sky-is-falling Monday and that's the feel that all of us should have and use that as a chip on our shoulder to make sure it doesn't happen again.
"It's that one thing that we have to do is continue to go out and execute and make sure that something like last night doesn't happen again."
