The media can portray a person any way they want. There's a reason he doesn't like to talk to the media. Randy doesn't have to defend himself. They can say he never tried in Minnesota, despite the fact that he was on Jerry Rice's pace after his 7 years there. Does that sound ridiculous to anyone else? A guy on pace with the best receiver ever has poor work ethic and doesn't try? A guy who is in the top 5 in career touchdown catches, at what, 31 years old?
I watched Randy in Minnesota. I watched him in Oakland. The only time I question his play was year 2 in Oakland. However, it's hard to compare the Raiders organization to any of the other 31 teams in the league. I don't know how I could focus if I was part of a circus like that.
