Yes, this is technically a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX, but only because the history books say so.

The biggest thrashing in NCAA history might be the one you mention, but the worst thrashing of all time was actually a 1916 game "between" Georgia Tech and Cumberland College.
Remember McNabb's stupid comments after sygate saying "give us our rings back"? Well, you think the Pats forgot about that? Hell no. This is the beginning of the real run up the score games. Wrath is the exact word to use here. You nailed it on the head. Wrath is exactly what the Eagles are going to have to face. I wouldn't doubt to see some extra blitzing so McNabb can take a big hit here and there.
Yes, in 1916 GA Tech beat Cumberland College, 222-0. The 100-7 win by Houston over Tulsa is the most between two Division I schools. Cumberland College was a lower division small college which had dropped football a few years prior, and was resurrecting it in 1916. IMHO it was more noteworthy for Houston to score 100 against Tulsa than it was for GT to run up 222 points against a defenseless and depleted NAIA Cumberland team. The baseball team also currently competes in the NAIA and won the NAIA World Series in 2004.
Point well taken, but Cumberland is no Tulsa.

McNabb will blow chunky soup all over the field turf this Sunday...like he ALWAYS does
