UConn fan's persepctive: Bruce Campbell screwed up by picking Maryland over UConn.
UConn's coaches have developed walk-ons who didn't play high school football into NFL draft picks who started from day 1 (Donald Thomas for the Dolphins) and guys who didn't have a single other Div. 1 offer and made them into second rounders (William Beatty of the Giants), and next year Zach Hurd comes out.
How does a 4-star recruit with incredible athleticism (big men should not be able to move that fast) pick a school like Maryland, and leave it without having learned the basic skills of his position? He's incredibly raw. and he hasn't been chosen.
I know why he didn't pick UConn. It's because his father, a bigtime hoopster at Providence, sneered at the in-state school. It was a big mistake. UConn coaches know how to develop OLs.
Anybody for a big boy for the front 7? Lane, Wootton, Woods?

I wouldn't mind Wootton or Lane.

Lendale White traded to Seattle for a pick
Love to see Eric Norwood land with the Patriots as well.
He's another guy who didn't have a great combine but he is a football player and has a nose for the ball.
If you like Brandon Spikes, you should like Eric Norwood.
I didn't see this thread before...
yeah, williams from syracuse quit his team and is still drafted ahead of many talented guys...he's supposed to be talented but still.
Imagine if someone were to say before the draft that Mike Williams of Syracuse would go before Campbell. You would have thought that guy was nuts. There has to be something drasticallly wrong with Campbell.
