Just because Manning sqaaaks like a bird and flaps his arms at the line doenst make him great.

I respect Manning, but I don't fear him like I used to. Some of those throws the other night are throws that he used to complete with regularity. The long pass down the sideline to Thomas, for example. He was blanketed by Talib, but the Manning of old would have been able to put the ball where only Thomas would have been able to catch it a few years ago. He's simply not capable of doing that anymore and, as the season goes on, his arm gets weaker and weaker. If anybody has trouble believing that, then ask yourselves this: in 2004-2009, do you think Belichick would have ever blatently dared Manning to throw it down the field and outside the numbers?
Did you miss 2007? When Brady had the best weapons it was a joke. Yeah, they lost in the end, but Manning has lost many times with elite weapons. Manning isn't better than Brady with elite weapons, he's just had them more often.
I just hate the media fascination over him when the guy from New England had to work for everything he has earned since High School. Manning was gifted with everything that he needed to be successful...Tom just worked hard and kept working and never looked back outdoing the chosen one the one who had everything given to him yet people hate Tom Brady and his ashes to glory story and love Peyton his always having the advantage and media darling. That's what makes me appreciate Tom Brady as my QB even more and disgusts me seeing people actually comparing the two.
It's funny but I had a boss a few years ago that tried everything he could to convince me that your point is the other way around. He told me that Brady is not a hard worker and was just blessed with great physical gifts. Manning had to work and blah blah blah. He also tried to convince me that Tom Brady was nothing but a system QB and would not flourish without BB and the system. It was painful to sit next to the man. I really thought he was crazy.

See my signature file, stolen from fellow poster IceIceBrady....
Manning is amazing, but not perfect.
Yep he did
Also, when Brady called out some power formation, and every one, including me, thought it was a run and it was a pass. Wide open.
I can't believe this question even gets asked. Please name any other profession where someone rises to the top .1% of people who do it and there is question about whether they are respectable or not. Absurd.
Wow,
I can't even believe this is a question.
One of the all time greatest players to ever play the game.
How can you not respect him.
He is an unbelievable player.
If I recall correctly, Tom Brady has had a personal QB coach since he was 10 years old. He came from a rather privileged background too.
