Broncos are the biggest cheaters in the league. 29 mill in salary cap is pretty friggin big....I knew they cheated the cap but didn't know it was that bad. That could easily be 3-4 more pro bowlers on the team. Back then 29 mill was much more than it is now. Probably closer to 40 mill today with inflation.

and they were fined TWICE, I believe for the same time period. Someone who knows more than me please comment/correct anything I'm saying which may be wrong but they were fined a total of over 1.9 million dollars and 2 3rd round picks but the fines happened in 2 separate years. Put them together, as we should, and the punishment is enormous. 29 million.. to put this in perspective the salary cap in 1997 was around 41 million and in 1998 around 52. That is the largest competitive advantage I've ever seen.

I've never seen the numbers, just the logic that going over the cap is more an advantage then camera placement. Would you post again, the amount they went over the cap for each year and the salary cap for each year.

Unless I am mistaken Barstool is the site that ran naked pictures of one of Brady's kid's. The guy is a complete and total scumbag. If I am mistaken I will gladly retract it because i wouldn't stick with that statement if that is untrue.

Somehow I missed this story altogether...guess I'm not much of a football fan I did not look for the pictures, but I googled the incident and found this discussion...

It sounds like Mrs. B was parading her naked kids in public. If that is correct, shame on her. Unless the pictures were focused on private parts, I suspect the nudity was incidental on the photog's part. Definitely tasteless, but hardly pornographic.

We never took naked pictures of our kids because we didn't want them to be embarrassed later. We never let them run around public places with no clothes on. That seems to be better parenting than parading your kids in public then getting upset when someone takes a picture.

My sister used to tell me that it was her right to safely walk through the Combat Zone naked waving hundred dollar bills at 2:00 in the morning. My response, "Even if it was legal to do that, it doesn't make it a good idea."

I wouldn't even have posted this except that the post a bit slanderous and a disservice to anyone who might otherwise enjoy the content.

Publishing naked pictures of anyones children is an open invitation to the perverts. I thought Barstool should have been shut down the second they did it and i have never and will never go to their site since then. The guy is a complete piece of sh.t.


I am just going to leave it at that Icy, i have said py piece and don't want anything to detract from the game this weekend.

Seemed like a giant overreaction to me. His kid was one year old, and playing on the beach. Not different than anything I saw when I was young. I've had my kids change on a beach and they've played naked in a lake. Certainly naked pictures of kids 3 and under are commonplace in every baby book and photo album. Doesn't mean he should publicize them without permission. I think that's wrong, but trying to turn this into some pedophile case... It's clearly BS.

He wasn't trying to make kiddie porn and everybody knows it. He didn't exploit the kid, he never met him, and he didn't sell the pics. And I guess the one thing I find more detestable than printing those pictures without permission is slandering someone as a pedophile when people know it's not true. I don't find those sorts of false accusations to be helpful and it just makes me want to tune out those that make the accusations as worse than the person they accuse.
The reactions are just so over the top absurd. Pictures like that are everywhere, and the joke was dumb. But if we're talking about a guy who invades their privacy and makes bad jokes than I'll agree. Everything else is bull.

I have two friends who were Colts fans while Peyton was there (made for some really uncomfortable moments and smack-talking from '06 on) who immediately switched their allegiance to Denver because of Peyton and Peyton only. Pretty disgusting, but equally disgusting IMO is long-time Denver fans' idolatry of Manning. Sure, you could accuse some Pats fans of basically worshiping Brady, but at least he's not a rental and has been the face of the organization since 2001.

I have rebutted with the Cap cheating twice to a Pats are cheaters comments and most just skip right over it as if it wasn't there. They know. Only one knuckle head debated with me about it and claimed I was pointing fingers....I didn't start the cheating comments so not sure how pointing out you don't have any room to talk is pointing fingers. But it soon became apparent that he was a little off so the ignore function was put to good use.

There are a few good posters over there. But most are flag waving fan boy's that are not that educated in the world of football.
