Probably not, most coaches would discount him because of his height alone. He's only an inch shorter than Russell Wilson but the height bias is very strong.
There is a height bias, but it isn't the height bias that would've kept Edelman from getting a shot at QB in the NFL. He could've been 6'2 and he still wouldn't get a shot because as a passer the production was never there. Wilson got a shot because he completed 70% of his passes with a 33/4 TD/INT ratio in the Big 10. Edelman played in the MAC and was dramatically worse across the board. Edelman just wasn't a very good passer, even in college and playing in a lower-tier conference.
