It was too far away for the sideline judge to see it, according to Roger Goodell.
I can't tell for certain if that's a pass play or a run play, but the way Edelman extends his arms as if to block it may well be a run play. If it's a run then that's a good no-call, just some pushing away from the play.

Technically flags were thrown but they offset so it had no effect.how was there no flag on this play?
I love how the side judge is less than 5 yards away from it the whole time.
That should have been 4 or 5 different flags. He should have been throwing hats and shoes at some point.
