Willis. This is bad news. We don't need Denver any stronger on defense than they are.
Lord I hope the Lions take him.
I don't think that Denver is all that strong on Defense. They lost Al Wilson, who was their best LBa and their equivalent of Tedy Bruschi when it comes to leadership and making sure everyone is in the right place.. They trajically lost Darrent Williams, who was their best CB behind Bailey. They also lost Patrick Chukawurah who was one of their best back-up LBs.
Now, that being said, I think if Denver adds Willis, it goes a long way to helping them get better.
They picked up Dre Bly, a huge upgrade over Williams. (R.I.P.)
Wilson is a loss, which is why I think they're going to take a shot at Willis.
What if he isn't there when they pick?
I just read this so maybe its only a rumor
DENVER -- The Denver Broncos added depth at linebacker, signing unrestricted free-agents Warrick Holdman and D.D. Lewis on Thursday.
The chart says it would be their #2 and #3 (that's what someone said a couple days ago, anyway).A bold move by Denver, but a very smart move. Does anybodyknow what they might have had to give up to get into the top 10 at the very least in terms of what the value grid says it would take??????
